The target from this life

    It is a huge and very important subject , through it the unbeliever can establish a new look about life , his existence , and the most important thing " what ALLAH wants from human ? "

    All glory be to ALLAH , he created the universe and prepared the earth " the temporary home " for Adam and his sons before he creates Adam .

    ((30. Behold, thy Lord said to the angels: "I will create a vicegerent on earth." They said: "Wilt Thou place therein one who will make mischief therein and shed blood?- whilst we do celebrate Thy praises and glorify Thy holy (name)?" He said: "I
    know what ye know not." )) Surah 2

    Which means ALLAH knew that Adam is going to eat from the tree before he creates Adam . and this tree was an ordinary tree , not as the bible says " the tree of knowledge " . ALLAH tested prophet Adam by this tree . but prophet Adam did not pass this test . as a result of that ALLAH sent Adam and eve also the Satan to earth .

    Did ALLAH forgive Adam ? yes .

    In Surah 2 : ((37. Then learnt Adam from his Lord words of inspiration, and his Lord Turned towards him;
    Why ? at the same verse (( for He is Oft-Returning, Most Merciful. ))

    The sons of Adam .

    I would like to begin by the claim of the Jews and the Christians about themselves and their relation with ALLAH , the holy Quran showed their claim and answered them :

    Surah 5 :((18. (Both) the Jews and the Christians say: "We are sons of Allah, and his beloved." Say: "Why then doth He punish you for your sins? Nay, ye are but men,- of the men he hath created: He forgiveth whom He pleaseth, and He punisheth whom He pleaseth: and to Allah belongeth the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and all that is between: and unto Him is the final goal (of all)" ))

    Which means ALLAH gave all humankind the complete chance in this life , no differences between them : [ the Muslim , the atheist , the Jew , the Christian , ………………… ] are going to take their chances in this life .

    The target of life :

    ((2. He Who created Death and Life, That He may try which of you is best in deed: and He is the Exalted in Might, Oft-Forgiving;- )) Surah 67

    ((1. Has there not been over Man a long period of Time, when he was nothing - (not even) mentioned? 2. Verily We created Man from a drop of mingled sperm, in order to try him: So We gave him (the gifts), of Hearing and Sight. 3. We showed him the Way: whether he be grateful or ungrateful (rests on his will). )) Surah 76

    ((7. He it is Who created the heavens and the earth in six Days - and His Throne was over the waters - that He might try you, which of you is best in conduct. But if thou wert to say to them, "Ye shall indeed be raised up after death", the Unbelievers would be sure to say, "This is nothing but obvious sorcery!" )) Surah 11.

    So the target of life is testing and trying people [ you , I , he , she ] . and everyone will get his result at the end of his life [ the death ] , then the final result during the last day .

    What are the questions of this test ?

    Everything in this life : ((165. It is He Who hath made you (His) agents, inheritors of the earth: He hath raised you in ranks, some above others: that He may try you in the gifts He hath given you: for thy Lord is quick in punishment: yet He is indeed Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful. ))Surah 6

    Also : ((34. We granted not to any man before thee permanent life (here): if then thou shouldst die, would they live permanently? 35. Every soul shall have a taste of death: and We test you by evil and by good by way of trial. to Us must ye return. )) Surah 21

    it means , everything : health and sickness . strength and weakness . riches and poorness . knowledge , the sons , the wife , ……………………

    what we will do during the good times ? and what we will do during the hard times ?

    as we came to this life without anything … also we will go to our graves without anything [ only a period for any human to be tested then he will pass ]

    The hard times :
    ALLAH SAYS : ((155. Be sure we shall test you with something of fear and hunger, some loss in goods or lives or the fruits (of your toil),

    As the verse tells : it is a general test for all human with their different beliefs and thoughts . also the verse gives a glad tidings …

    ALLAH says : (( but give glad tidings to those who patiently persevere, 156. Who say, when afflicted with calamity: "To Allah We belong, and to Him is our return":- 157. They are those on whom (Descend) blessings from Allah, and Mercy, and they are the ones that receive guidance. ))

    I think all of you agree that these tests could happen to anyone , and in any part of this earth

    The examples :

    The prophets peace be upon them , faced the most difficult tests , no one in the world faced as they faced , ALLAH did not make the road easy for them. for example

    1- Prophet Noah : invited his people for 950 years , he used every way to make his people believe , but only 9 persons believed him .

    2- Prophet Ibrahim : traveled to several areas Iraq to Palestine then to Egypt . then returned to Palestine , then to the land of Arabs , then he returned to Palestine , his people tried to burn him , ALLAH tested him in his son [sacrificing ] , also the very hard test when the ruler of Egypt was going to rape Sarah the wife of prophet Ibrahim but ALLAH saved her . also he obeyed the command of ALLAH when he left his son Ismail and his wife Hager in the valley of Makkah without food or water .

    3- Prophet Job : after he was very rich , ALLAH tested him in his wealth [ farms and cattle ] , then his sons died , then ALLAH increased the difficulty of the test on him through sickness until people expelled him from the city . and no one remained with him except his wife . until one time she asked him to ask ALLAH to cure him , he answered her : how many years we did live in the favors and the blesses of ALLAH ? she said : 80 years . then he answered her : then I will wait 80 years .

    4- Prophet Moses suffered too much from Pharaoh , then from his people , many chapters in the holy Quran showed the suffers of prophet Moses . his name has been mentioned 131 times in the Quran . more than any prophets .

    5- Prophet Jesus : you know his story with the unbelievers .

    6- Prophet Mohammad : he is the seal of prophets , the lover of ALLAH , and the best man ever walk on earth , ALLAH said about him : ((4. And thou (standest) on an exalted standard of character. )) . but was the way easy for him ? certainly no . it was the most hardest way , all his life was struggle in the case of ALLAH .

    Why ? if they were the lovers of ALLAH and he chosen them to invite people to the path of ALLAH . then why ALLAH did not make the way easy for them ? and why did they struggle and suffer ?

    The "target of life" is whatever you make of it. I am sure this succinct answer will not sit well with the likes of you and eninn, and do you know why? Because when people gleefully surrender their morality, logic and intellect to accomodate a book which promises the eternal care of a celestial baby-sitter, the prospect of having responsibility for one's own life thrust back upon them threatens to kick out the childish emotional crutch you lot so desperately seek to keep leaning on.

    Describing comments and thoughts as sick indicates somewhat of an emotional response. Never mind; lets keep this intellectual and go through the points you made shall we?

    This is the only response you can make in the absence of anything substantive. No rhyme or reason, just plugging your ears with your fingers while saying "La-la-la!".

    First, you opened this thread. Second, don't pretend you are "debating" since we all know very well you are just using this forum to proselytize. Third, you received a reply you didn't expect, the best you can respond with is "You're just wrong" - you should be taking your own advice when it comes to handling "debate" and whether to "open a section" or not.

    ( 2 ) Q , you must understand that I am not challenging you or anyone .. I am showing you a truth cannot be denied , and the challenge from ALLAH on the arrogant is : (( 23. And if ye are in doubt as to what We have revealed from time to time to Our servant, then produce a Sura like thereunto; and call your witnesses or helpers (If there are any) besides Allah, if your (doubts) are true. 24. But if ye cannot- and of a surety ye cannot- then fear the Fire whose fuel is men and stones,- which is prepared for those who reject Faith. ))
    also : ((88. Say: "If the whole of mankind and Jinns were to gather together to produce the like of this Qur'an, they could not produce the like thereof, even if they backed up each other with help and support. 89. And We have explained to man, in this Qur'an, every kind of similitude: yet the greater part of men refuse (to receive it) except with ingratitude! ))

    just to remind you what the unbelievers will say in front of ALLAH : ((31. The Unbelievers say: "We shall neither believe in this scripture nor in (any) that (came) before it." Couldst thou but see when the wrong-doers will be made to stand before their Lord, throwing back the word (of blame) on one another! Those who had been despised will say to the arrogant ones: "Had it not been for you, we should certainly have been believers!" 32. The arrogant ones will say to those who had been despised: "Was it we who kept you back from Guidance after it reached you? Nay, rather, it was ye who transgressed. 33. Those who had been despised will say to the arrogant ones: "Nay! it was a plot (of yours) by day and by night: Behold! Ye (constantly) ordered us to be ungrateful to Allah and to attribute equals to Him!" They will declare (their) repentance when they see the Penalty: We shall put yokes on the necks of the Unbelievers: It would only be a requital for their (ill) Deeds. ))

    I ask ALLAH not you or venom will be among them . ALLAH is welcoming anyone wants him

    ((147. What can Allah gain by your punishment, if ye are grateful and ye believe? Nay, it is Allah that recogniseth (all good), and knoweth all things. )) Surah 4

    The effect of the Quran on people has two ways in chapter 41 verse 44
    On the believers : ((Say: "It is a Guide and a Healing to those who believe ))

    And on the unbelievers : ((and for those who believe not, there is a deafness in their ears, and it is blindness in their (eyes): They are (as it were) being called from a place far distant!" ))

    Surah 29 : ((12. And the Unbelievers say to those who believe: "Follow our path, and we will bear (the consequences) of your faults." Never in the least will they bear their faults: in fact they are liars! 13. They will bear their own burdens, and (other) burdens along with their own, and on the Day of Judgments they will be called to account for their falsehoods. ))
