Hey, i'm going for a job at EB games but since all ive ever done is worked for my parents, i havent actually written a resume before, and the online stuff is confusing.

does anyone have any tips about writing one?

Be honest. Be blunt. Be concise. Talk yourself up. Show enthusiasm for the job. Be professional. Include information about yourself that makes you seem motivated and a hard worker. Get referees will talk you up if asked. Write very formally. Organise sections clearly.

    That's all I got.

    Resume aka curriculum vitae

this will help you. Read it and follow it. The idea is to put as much information in as to make them interested in you but do not put in too much. Make them think there is more to know about you.

My Resume boils down to this: Really smart and full of heart, risk-taker. It's nicely pimped up, but that's just about what an employer will take home.

If your looking for format, it goes by name in center, contact info in upper right corner. Then you have you objective which is pretty much what your looking for in a job, your skills etc; make sure it's really formally written. Then go on to awards, job experiences, and all that jazz. I'll be happy to send you mind from high school once I get back home from vacation.
