    Peta is the ultimate antithesis of "animal rights". The fact is these moral crusaders are as deluded as any religious fanatic, and just as uninformed about their so-called "area of expertise". Any success they enjoy in the minds of the rational majority, comes solely from their unique gift of mixing the insane with the political notion that animals are human. As is so often the case in the real world there are various shades of grey, it's just a shame that, the rights of ALL animals cannot be seen with any degree of relativity.

    Apologies for any vitriol in my post, I didn't even look at the provided links, but peta and their ilk gets my blood up something terrible. Also anyone in the UK who wants to show real support for animal rights would do well to look to "The Dogs Trust" or "The Countryside Alliance", these are worthy organisations who actually care about animals. Again sorry for the vitriolic rant, sometimes I just can't stop myself:<

    I think cows are yummy, yummy things. I am sorry they have to die in order for me to enjoy their meat, but that's part of living, eating dead things.

    Who are you talking to? I personally enjoy eating meat, and have a primarily meat based diet.
