The intrinsic motion of light creates space and the intrinsic motion of gravity creates time. Time marches on to create history, the temporal analog of space. The intrinsic motion of light is the spatial entropy drive of free energy, and the intrinsic motion of time is the historical entropy drive of bound energy. Welded together by gravitation, the intrinsic motions of time and light create historic spacetime, the compound conservation domain of free and bound electromagnetic energy. Space and the drive of spatial entropy (S) are gravitationally transformed into time and the drive of historical entropy (T), a transformation which can be symbolically represented in a "concept equation" as:

As far as our knowledge suggests, nothing can. How is it limiting to base our beliefs in what we know, what we have evidence and proof for? Do you suggest we believe aliens could travel faster than light simply because it sounds cool? Because we WANT them to be able to?

Actually, its a matter of both. Even in a infinite universe, and a probability of something existing being 50% in any given place, it doesn't mean it will exist, the same way you will probably not roll a six on a die exactly 1 out of 6 times, no matter it you throw the die sixty times or sixty billion times.

Also, the size of the universe does not change the fact that some things are inherently impossible. Breaking the laws of physics for example. No matter where you go, you can't do it, if you think you have, then you're wrong, you just interpretted the extent of physics incorrectly.

And besides, aliens that look almost exactly like us is such a mad concept, look at the diversity of life on this very planet, and an alien coming from a far away planet is going to look like a clammy, hairless fish man? Unlikely, to say the very least.

    Unlikely, but I'll grant it.

When life first arose on earth and started to vary, it was like throwing a billion 20 sided dice, the environment ensures that a few will remain the same, but its extremely unlikely that even then anything would be similar to us.

I don't think it was like a billion 20 sided dice, I read somewhere that they created "life soup" out of a few chemicals, and some electricity or something. From there on, if the conditions were near identical, wouldn't life evolve pretty much the same?

Maybe I am a complete dumbass and I know nothing, but it seems logical to me.

Get some seeds, and a place with sun and water, and you'll get a plant. All you need are the right conditions (which are common), and a "seed" (or basic cells?).
Some will die, some will thrive. But they will all be the same color, around the same size, live for about as long, same shape. There will be many slight variations, but you'll be able to identify it.An atheist is a person who believes that the murder of a single little girl— even once in a million years—casts doubt upon the idea of a benevolent God.

No, it wouldn't evolve the same, from the same conditions, it was complete and utter chance that all of the situations that made things evolve the way they did ever happend. Even a slight difference, like a creature bumping into another one, will change literally everything about every creature that ever spawn from either of them. Its like how you can take a potato and some cheese and make a shit ton of different kinds of foods, depending on what you do with them, what spices you throw in, how long cook them for, and in which ways.

The reason that analogy is stupid, is because a seed is already programmed to grow into a certain kind of plant, while the primoridial chemicals have the potential to become almost anything, and have no genetic pre programming to become a certain being.

Cells and animals are programmed to reproduce a certain kind of cell or animal :P

Basically the only thing that would change the way the evolved would be their predator and prey. And its not like they would have to be exact. All their would need to be is an animal with 2 legs and 2 arms that stands upright, and it would fit into any of those cave paintingsAn atheist is a person who believes that the murder of a single little girl— even once in a million years—casts doubt upon the idea of a benevolent God.

Yes, they are, after they have been established, which takes a long time, in the stage of primordial soups, any organism could form. Or at least, an organism that would evolve to form anything.

Are you unable to comprehend how unlikely it is? Insanely! Ridiculously! You might as well call it impossible!

You know, certain types of earth tremors can affect the human brain, in fact in areas where a special kind of tremor often occurs, people have experiences with angels and aliens. And they see the stereotypical brain, it has actually been recreated under lab conditions, showing that the stereotypical alien is utterly a construct of the human mind.

Fucking tragedy that I can't find any sources I'll have to ask my dad about it, as he told me about it.

It's been suggested that the typical Alien figure and abduction routine is a cultural meme rather than anything extraterrestrial. Something that many people know of, so when they experience it as part of a delusion, illusion, or hallucination, it comes straight from the preconceived idea already implanted.

I suggest that they could travel faster than light, because humans know very little.

Why is it that aliens have to automatically be smarter than us? Why is it that if there is indeed a galactic zoo out there, we couldn't be the smartest among them? Or at least the first to develop sufficent technology for basic space traffic?

Not only is your appeal to ignorance wrong (we humans do know quite a lot), even if we had the ignorance you proclaimed, it still would be a fallacy.

There is no reason to assume other (assumed) aliens are capable of travelling at speed beyond the one of light just because "we know too little".

Someone exactly like you a couple hundred years ago, probably said the exact same thing, except instead of aliens traveling faster than light, it was the earth being round.

The ancient Greek new that the earth was round, some even meassuered its circumference with astoundingly good results for the tools they had.

It took some Christian bias to assume that the earth was flat. And even then a lot of educated people assumed, heck, knew that the earth was spheric rather than flat. It is very easy to come to that conclusion:

If earth was flat you would expect ships to always be seen, only appearing smaller at the distance, until they would fall into empty space at world's end.

And since this was not the case is the reason that people even dared looking for a naval path to India.

The concept of a flat earth has very little to do with science. It only serves as a starting point that easily can be falsified.

Its impossible "as far as our knowledge suggests"

Well, duh! Shame that our knowledge that practical flight beyond light speed impossible is based on good evidence. As long as there is no extraodinary evidence to make us revisit our current model of the world, I won't.The fear of death arises from the false belief that in death there is awareness.

Wait, WHO created life soup? When? Last I checked (admittedly, long ago), scientists were messing around with like deep sea sulfur springs or something because they thought life might have come from there, and was trying to create life again. Or something. And then there was another hypothesis that life came from outerspace debris that landed on earth or something.

Of course, there is the favorite: life was placed there by God.

    So, what's up?

OMG, what if life was placed on earth by ancient astronauts, and we are all, in fact, aliens! That would explain how our visions of "aliens" are oddly humanlike.

The "life soup" was created decades ago. It was basically some amino acids and proteins that had formed.

Humans are not some alien ant farm. Our genetics show we originated from the same place that every other organism came from. I am not taking into regards shadow biospheres because they have not been proven although they are possible in theory. Studies are, however, being done to see if the first forms of life could have hitch hiked here form other planets. This would make us all aliens."So, forget Jesus. Sure we are. Aliens created earth and then planted little microorganisms in the ocean and periodically check up on us by writing messages in our cornfields. The invariance of charge in the service of symmetry conservation is another rationale for the tangential relationship between matter and matter's entropic conservation domain, historic spacetime. Matter, and matter's associated charges, exist only in the present moment of time, and do not participate in the entropic expansion of historic spacetime. The charges of matter, as well as the energy content of matter, are therefore protected from entropic enervation or dilution by the "march of time". Atoms simply do not age, and charge magnitudes are invariant through time. The tangential contact between matter and historic spacetime is also the reason for the weakness of gravity: gravity need supply matter with only enough temporal entropy to maintain or "service" the tiny tangential point of contact. At this point of contact, gravity is actually the same strength as the electromagnetic force - as the black hole demonstrates. This notion accords well with the observation of P. A. M. Dirac that the ratio of the strength of the gravitational force to the electromagnetic force is the same as the ratio of the radius of an electron to the radius of the Cosmos - the electron representing the physical size of the "tangential" point of contact between matter and historic spacetime.Généralement, les gens qui savant peu parlent becoup, et les gens qui savant beaucoup parlent peu.

Well yeah. But from what I learned, the continents broke apart way before any sort of mammals were here

Maybe we hitched a ride here on a meteor. If we did, our "seed" could easily exist on other planetsAn atheist is a person who believes that the murder of a single little girl— even once in a million years—casts doubt upon the idea of a benevolent God.

Sorry f I'm wrong. It was a couple years ago and I wasn't really paying all that much attention in class anyways.“Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.” -Dr. Suess

Perhaps further research should be done then?

This is actually a theory being worked on by scientists as well... It's quite intriguing actually. Combinations of water and amino acids along with the impact of meteors (15 degree angle of impact is what is being experimented as plausible on our planet as resulting in around 20% of the liquid water not vaporizing upon impact) causes the amino acids to combine and "chain"... If you imagine billions of years of this happening it's very plausible that we could indeed have been "planted" here through a long series of impacts.Death is life's way of telling you that you've been fired.

These are all in the same family. Aren't we talking about an alien that isn't related to us at all? Look atfungicompared to humans. The fungi are related to us and an alien from another planet wouldn't be.

There are different types of wild cats on every continent though, and I am pretty sure they're unable to swim across the oceanAn atheist is a person who believes that the murder of a single little girl— even once in a million years—casts doubt upon the idea of a benevolent God.

So are you saying that Native American and Europeans and Australians aren't Homo Sapiens Sapiens because we are from different continents?

The fear of death arises from the false belief that in death there is awareness.

Comparing different races in humans to different types of cats is far retched. What makes a different species a species is that when they mate they can not produce offspring and if they do the offspring is not fertile so that line could not continue. Different human races could be equated to a calico cat and a Siamese cat. Not a leopard and a jaguar."So, forget Jesus. The stars died so that you could be here today.” - Lawrence krauss

It is not life, your right. It is, however, the building blocks of life."So, forget Jesus. The stars died so that you could be here today.” - Lawrence krauss

It created Amino acids, demonstrating the transition to life isn't impossible.
Also, don't think that those experiments were the only ones. They have been continued since and better results have been found.
