    It would seem that our solar system here has gone through a meteor shower of newbies. After a year here I find this very strange: I mean it was hard enough to put up with Matt and Breezy let alone the trolls and other creepy crawlies. I have other ideas of why this might be but I think the opinion of our family here would be most helpful.
    I might even admit this with trepidation. Maybe my thoughts are illusional. Your thoughts are most welcome.

    I voted option 3, because my mind is more proned to conspiracy theories. But, a few days back there was an off-topic discussion about inviting new people on. PLUS, there is now a TAA FB group, people might have noticed that on there and come to check it out.

    I do think I can help with why this forum has been seeing an influx of newbies, including my trollsome self it would seem. Personally I use google for my search engine, and this forum was on the first page on my search for atheist forums. There aren't too many out there, but all the same... I did a few searches, including arrogant atheist (i enjoy looking for right wing websites that denounce me to be a spawn of satan and nothing more than a pile of "excrement") and this was one of the top in google search. So perhaps someone at google thought for shits and giggles to see what would happen to a small forum by changing search result listings.Live Short & Suffer

    Well, TAA DOES advertise on FB... that's how I got here... maybe TAA have upped there ppc rate?????

    Also, I think a couple of newbies have been invited by other members...

    Don't think there's a major conspiracy going on... altho this is said as a more frequent lurker than poster .... lolHonesty may be the best policy, but it's important to remember that, by the process of elimination, dishonesty is the second-best policy...

    That's how I came across this site....Google. I have been so interested in the study of theology (or lack thereof) that I am constantly trying to find more information to read, so that's basically how I found you guys. And so far I love it here!

    I wish I could remember. I just tried to recreate it by typing some stuff that I thought I may have typed originally but couldn't get it to work. But anyway I found you guys and glad I did!

    I came here by searching "Why can't I tell people their beliefs are wrong?" in google and this forum came up linking to a dead thread.
    Really really glad I found it; you guys are great.
    Edit: Also I'm not on the newbie lists :D this is a good thing.
    PS you guys won't hear much from me for a few weeks. I've got a new job keeping me pretty occupied and I'm also going overseas tomorrow for 2 weeks which will mean 0 internet. :)If you're not part of the problem then you're part of the solution.

    VFX is very scared of women. It comes from his clowning past. He will only trust you if you paint yourself up to look like his long lost clown mother. I think she was dragged back down to hell or something.

    Actually no I never asked for your opinion about me and I really don't give a fuck what you think. You said you didn't trust me and I stated that didn't make sense to me. That's what I wanted to know. I really don't see what me being average, plain, and potentially boring in your opinion has to do with trust.
    As for me "surviving" here, if I were really upset by your opinion I wouldn't have responded at all and would have just not come back to this site. I am only trying to get a legit reason from you that makes you feel like you can't trust me.
